2022 AHP EQUINE MEDIA AWARDS
My photo of Aaliyah featured in the Mane ‘n Tail’s ‘Boss of Gloss’ ad (displayed below) and published in the AQHA Journal, Horse & Rider, Horse Illustrated, and more, received Third Place in the category of Business Equine-related Single Advertisement Designs at the America Horse Publication Media Awards for pieces published in 2022.
Named “Open Spaces in California,” this advertisement is really special. I have been working with Mane ’n Tail for 9 years and became part of the team a year ago. This is the first time I’ve entered my photography or writing outside of my book at AHP, and I started as a student member several years ago. This photo of my friend Aaliyah was taken at Lake Success for her Senior pics.
