Since I was a child, my passion for fashion, horses, and the cowboy way of life has always been at the forefront of my interests. At 18, I decided to take my love for these elements and turn it into something more rewarding. Starting my own blog, California Dreamin' – which began on blogspot.com, became the perfect outlet to showcase my style, documented through photos of my outfits and stories while traveling to and from rodeos, both inside and outside the arena. In 2010, Instagram dropped, and I saw this as an opportunity to draw more traffic and exposure to my blog while also giving me a platform to express myself further through my fashion and writing. Throughout this journey, I realized the immense importance of fostering symbiotic relationships with brands I used, loved, and had been loyal to since childhood. By collaborating with them, I could leverage their reach, as well as mine, and establish myself as a trusted and valuable influencer through the content I produced. A big part of this journey has also been motivated by my childhood friend, Jamie Changala (changalaussies.com), who began to capture our horseback adventures through our sacred California land. I take immense pride in producing nothing but the best content for the brands I work with, looking to exceed their expectations and have maintained working relationships with some brands for over 9 years.
